This report from Third Way suggests that raising college completion rates from their current rate of 57 percent to the national high school graduation rate of 84 percent for a single class of students entering two- and four-year schools could boost the number of Americans with a degree by 1.3 million, add more than 100,000 people to the workforce, reduce the number of people in poverty by 48,000 and increase local, state, and federal tax revenue by more than $90 billion.
