Today’s college students lack financial literacy, according to a report from the U.S. Financial Literacy and Education Commission. The resolution? Colleges and universities must ramp up their efforts to educate students with efforts that include mandatory personal finance courses, integrating financial literacy into core curricula, communicating with students about financial topics throughout their studies, and using trained peer educators.
