INDIANAPOLIS — Kaye Vitug, a global healthcare and finance leader, has joined Lumina Foundation’s board of directors, which concluded its spring meeting today.

Vitug is the chief financial officer and senior vice president of Roche Diagnostics North America, a market leader in delivering novel diagnostic solutions that help improve patients’ lives. She also serves as co-chief executive officer and co-founder of Unlocking Eve, a nonprofit foundation pioneering efforts to bring a new model of integrated leadership to unlock better health and business outcomes.

“Kaye’s deep expertise in financial and healthcare leadership will be invaluable to Lumina as we continue our work to ensure all learners have the opportunity to succeed in education after high school,” said Jamie Merisotis, Lumina’s president and CEO. “Her strategic mindset, combined with a commitment to innovation, will strengthen our efforts to build a learning system that is accessible, affordable, and aligned with workforce needs.”

Vitug assumed her current role in July 2021 after holding various leadership positions across the United States, Switzerland, South Korea, and the United Kingdom She received her bachelor of science in mathematics from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. In 2022, she was recognized as a Woman of Influence by the Indianapolis Business Journal.

Vitug, who also is on the board of directors of United Way of Central Indiana, will serve a four-year term on Lumina’s board.
