A new poll from Intelligent.com shows that college students who voted for Donald Trump in November 2024 were twice as likely to get their news from podcasts as those who voted for Vice President Kamala Harris.
Among college students who voted for Trump, 34 percent reported getting their news from podcasts, compared to 17 percent of Harris voters. This figure rises to 39 percent among white male Trump voters. Additionally, 46 percent of Trump voters use X (formerly Twitter) for news, slightly higher than the 43 percent of Harris voters who do the same.
Overall, TikTok and Instagram served as respondents’ top two news sources.
